  • 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee Enhances chocolate flavor.

Mascarpone Topping

  • 8 ounces mascarpone cheese Provides a creamy topping.
  • 1 cup heavy cream For whipped topping.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar Sweetens whipped cream.
  • Cocoa powder for dusting Finishing touch.
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish (optional) Adds elegance to presentation.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  • Melt the butter and let it cool slightly, then mix in the granulated sugar.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Gently fold in flour and cocoa powder, then add vanilla and brewed coffee.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Cool the brownies completely in the pan before adding the topping.

Mascarpone Topping

  • Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
  • Fold the mascarpone cheese into the whipped cream until smooth.
  • Spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over the cooled brownies.
  • Dust with cocoa powder and add chocolate shavings if desired.
  • Slice into squares and serve.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing. Allow brownies to cool completely before adding topping.
