  • 0.25 teaspoon Crushed red pepper flakes Optional for extra heat.
  • 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak pieces for about 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté diced onion for 2-3 minutes until soft, then add minced garlic for another 30 seconds.
  • Reduce heat to medium-low, pour in heavy cream, and stir to combine with onions and garlic.
  • Gradually add shredded truffle Gouda and mozzarella, stirring until cheeses melt into a smooth sauce. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Return seared steak to skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss until coated with the sauce.
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer pasta mixture into a baking dish and bake uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until golden on top.
  • Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use good quality cheese and don't overcook the pasta as it will continue to cook in the oven.
