For Topping

  • 1/2 cup pretzel pieces Sprinkled on top for extra crunch.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/4 cup sugar. Press mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.

Make the Filling

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Pour the cheesecake mixture over the pretzel crust and spread evenly.
  • Drizzle the salted caramel sauce over the top.

Baking

  • Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set with a slight jiggle.
  • Cool completely in the pan before refrigerating for at least 2 hours.

Serving

  • Sprinkle additional pretzel pieces on top before serving.
