  • 1 pound Pizza dough Use fresh or store-bought.
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese Fresh mozzarella is great if available.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Grated, for a salty bite.
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Melted, to brush on the dough.
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder Use sparingly to avoid overpowering the flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning For added herb flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt To enhance the flavors.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a rectangle.
  • Melt the butter and brush it generously over the rolled dough.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and salt on top.
  • Layer the mozzarella cheese on top of the seasoned dough.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the mozzarella.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let it cool slightly before slicing into sticks.
  • Serve hot, optionally with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For a crispier crust, consider pre-baking the dough for a few minutes before adding the toppings. Allow the cheese to rest for a minute to avoid burns.
