Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
  • 1/2 red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/4 red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon honey or agave syrup (optional)

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine diced pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  • Add lime juice and salt, then stir until evenly mixed.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning; add honey or agave syrup if desired for extra sweetness.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled as a topping, dip, or side dish.
