Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar Just a touch of sweetness; remember, the peaches will provide more!

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed Use cold butter for the flakiest biscuits.
  • 3/4 cup milk Creamy and helps to bind it all together.
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted The swimming pool for our peaches, adding that golden glow.

Peach Mixture

  • 2 cups peaches, peeled and sliced Juicy, sweet summer perfection.
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar Adds a deep, molasses-like flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon A dash of warmth that makes everything better.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  • Cut in the cold butter with your fingers or a pastry cutter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk and stir until just combined. Lumps are okay.

Peach Mixture

  • In another bowl, combine the peach slices, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  • Pour melted butter into a baking dish and spread the peach mixture evenly over it.
  • Use a spoon to drop dollops of the biscuit dough over the peaches.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Let it cool slightly before serving warm.

Notes

Use cold ingredients for flakier biscuits. Don’t skip the cinnamon for added flavor depth. Adjust sugar based on peach sweetness.
