Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Slice each chicken breast open to create a pocket, ensuring not to slice all the way through.
  • Stuff each pocket with a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.
  • Secure the openings with toothpicks if necessary.
  • Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

Dredging and Baking

  • Set up a dredging station with bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  • Dredge each stuffed chicken breast in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  • Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and drizzle with olive oil or melted butter.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  • Carefully remove toothpicks and let rest before slicing.
  • Serve hot and enjoy.
