Preparation

  • Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  • Cook the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken from the skillet and cover it to keep warm.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic until soft and translucent.
  • Add the whiskey and simmer for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Stir in the heavy cream until well combined and smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Letting the onion and garlic sauté until caramelized can enhance the flavor. Serve with crusty bread for dipping.
