  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For frying and adding richness.

Preparation

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil until well combined.
  • Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Heat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and add a splash of olive oil.
  • Gently place the chicken breasts in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  • Pour the honey garlic mixture over the chicken and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions if desired. Serve warm.

Notes

Quality ingredients make a difference. Let the chicken rest after cooking for juiciness. Can adjust sweetness with vinegar if too sweet.
