Foil-Pack Baked Nachos are a fun, easy, and mess-free way to enjoy loaded nachos. Perfect for baking, grilling, or cooking over a campfire, each packet delivers gooey cheese, crisp chips, and your favorite toppings in one portable pouch.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (or heat grill/campfire). If using the grill or campfire, prepare for direct heat.
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain fat and stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Tear large sheets of aluminum foil and spray with non-stick cooking spray or line with parchment paper.
Layer tortilla chips on the foil sheets. Top with cooked ground beef, black beans, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, olives, onions, and jalapeños (if using).
Fold and seal each foil packet, leaving room for steam to circulate. Poke small holes in the top to vent.
Place foil packets on a baking sheet, grill, or campfire. Bake for 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
Carefully open packets (watch out for steam), then top with sour cream, guacamole, cilantro, and lime wedges if desired. Serve warm.
