Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup fruit preserves (strawberry or raspberry)
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • to taste mini chocolate chips or raisins (for eyes)
  • optional sliced almonds or pretzel pieces (for ears)
  • optional powdered sugar for dusting (sweet version)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half for smaller bites.
  • Place about 1 teaspoon of cream cheese mixture and 1/2 teaspoon of fruit preserves in the center of each small triangle.
  • Fold corners over the filling and shape each into a bunny by pinching dough to form ears.
  • Brush tops with beaten egg and decorate with mini chocolate chips or raisins for eyes, and almonds or pretzels for ears if desired.
  • Bake for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar for sweet versions.
