Instructions

Preparation

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and turkey bacon. Cook until browned and crispy, about 8–10 minutes, and drain excess fat.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
  • Whisk in the milk and eggs until well combined. Add ranch seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Stir in the cooked meats, thawed hash browns, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.

Baking

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour in the mixture. Top with the remaining cup of shredded cheese.
  • Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 50–60 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 8–10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  • Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature ingredients and don't over-bake. You can prepare the casserole the night before, keeping the cheese separate until baking.
