For the Croissant Donuts

  • 4 pieces Pre-made chocolate croissants Use fresh croissants for the best texture.
  • 1 large Egg For egg wash to create a golden crust.
  • as needed grams Powdered sugar or chocolate glaze Choose your desired finishing touch.
  • as needed grams Extra chocolate chips Optional, for extra chocolate indulgence.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Slice the chocolate croissants in half lengthwise, about ¾ of the way open to create a pocket for the filling.
  • Stuff the croissants with chocolate chips or your choice of fillings, being careful not to overfill.
  • Whisk the egg and brush it on the outer sides of the croissants for a golden finish.

Baking

  • Bake the croissants in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and fragrant.

Finishing Touch

  • Once baked, drizzle with chocolate glaze or sprinkle with powdered sugar as preferred.
  • Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with coffee or tea!

Notes
