For the Creamy Cilantro Sauce

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt or sour cream Greek yogurt adds protein and creaminess.

  • 1 tablespoon lime juice Fresh lime juice preferred.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your skillet with oil over medium heat.
  • In a medium-sized bowl, toss in the ground chicken.
  • Shred the zucchini using a grater and squeeze out excess water.

Mixing

  • Add breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the bowl.
  • Using your hands, mix everything together until well combined.

Forming Poppers

  • Shape the mixture into small patties.
  • Ensure they are compact enough to hold together while cooking.

Cooking

  • Place the patties in the hot skillet, frying them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
  • Drain cooked poppers on paper towels.

Making the Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix Greek yogurt (or sour cream), chopped cilantro, lime juice, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
