Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 14 ounces caramels (about 50 wrapped Kraft caramels) These are your flavor base, offering that sweet, gooey richness.
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk Adds creaminess and helps the caramels cling to the marshmallows.
  • 2 tablespoons butter Use a good quality unsalted butter for melting the caramels.
  • 12 ounces marshmallows (large) The star of the show! The bigger they are, the better the bite.
  • 7 cups Rice Krispies cereal Provides the crunch factor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Unwrap the caramels and place them in a medium saucepan with the sweetened condensed milk and butter.
  • Turn your stove to medium heat and stir the mixture constantly until it melts into a smooth, creamy caramel.

Coating

  • Using a toothpick or skewer, dip each marshmallow into the caramel mixture until fully coated.
  • Roll each caramel-coated marshmallow in a bowl of Rice Krispies, ensuring they are fully coated.

Setting

  • Place the coated marshmallows onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and let them set at room temperature for about 30 minutes.

Notes

For best results, melt the caramel on low heat to avoid burning. You can also customize these treats with chocolate drizzle or sea salt if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
