  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning Use homemade or store-bought.
  • 8 ounces Colby Jack cheese, shredded Provides the best oozy texture.
  • 12 ounces tortilla chips (Tostitos brand recommended) Sturdy chips to hold toppings.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
  • Spray a 12-cup capacity bundt pan generously with cooking spray.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and diced onion with salt and pepper for about 6-7 minutes, or until the beef is browned.
  • Drain excess fat, then stir in water and taco seasoning. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Layer half of the shredded cheese at the bottom of the bundt pan, followed by half of the beef mixture and ⅓ of the tortilla chips. Repeat with remaining cheese, beef, and chips.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Carefully invert the bundt pan onto a plate to serve the nachos.
  • Garnish with optional toppings like sour cream, diced tomatoes, and cilantro.

Notes

Allow nachos to cool for a couple of minutes before serving to help everything hold together. Leftovers can be reheated in the oven for best results.
