  • 4 ounces Boursin cheese, garlic and herb flavor The star ingredient!
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard Adds tanginess and helps bind the cheese to the salmon.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil Helps the salmon cook beautifully without drying out.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice brightens the entire dish.
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill A classic herb that adds flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme Adds a depth that complements salmon beautifully.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt Simple seasoning that elevates all the flavors.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper To taste.
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine Optional, adds complexity.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley For garnish.
  • 1 wedge lemon For serving.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels.
  • In a medium bowl, mix the softened Boursin cheese with Dijon mustard until combined.
  • Stir in olive oil, lemon juice, dill, thyme, salt, and pepper. Optionally add white wine.
  • Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and arrange the salmon fillets side by side.

Baking

  • Spoon the Boursin mixture evenly over each fillet.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature Boursin cheese for easier mixing. Broil the salmon for the last 1-2 minutes for extra crispy edges. Experiment with the cheese flavors based on your mood.
