A silky, coffee-forward mocktail that captures the classic espresso martini vibe—without alcohol. Fresh espresso shakes up with a non-alcoholic Irish-cream alternative and a crisp zero-proof vodka-style spirit (or cold water), finishing with a café-worthy foam and coffee-bean garnish. Perfect after dinner, for weekend brunch, or anytime you want a dessert-meets-coffee moment.
1ouncezero-proof vodka-style spirit (or cold water for dilution)
1/2ouncenon-alcoholic coffee liqueur or coffee syrup (optional, for depth)
ice cubes
3 coffee beans or a pinch of cocoa/cinnamon, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Brew espresso and let it cool until warm, not hot (about 2–3 minutes).
Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add non-alcoholic Irish cream, cooled espresso, zero-proof vodka-style spirit (or cold water), and coffee liqueur/syrup if using.
Seal and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until the shaker feels very cold and the mixture is frothy.
Double strain into a chilled martini or coupe glass to remove ice shards and create a smooth foam cap.
Garnish with 3 coffee beans or a light dusting of cocoa or cinnamon. Serve immediately.
